Trance, what is commonly used to describe the state one enters via Hypnosis. Trance definition, relating to making positive changes can be described this way. A half-conscious state characterized by an absence of response to external stimuli, a day daydreaming state. A state when your outward awareness is reduced. In this state one is more suggestible.

If you search the Internet for definitions of Hypnosis you will come across quite a few variations, and in some cases they might seem to contradict each other. For the purpose of aiding positive changes in people I will stick to relevant ones. Hypnosis is the by-passing of the critical thinking of the conscious mind.
